CASE STUDY OF PACKAGING RE-ENGINEERING
We helped a customer to replace polystyrene inserts with inserts made of corrugated cardboard. The customer's shipping costs were cut by 30% because they can now load 16 pcs/pallet, which is 4 more pieces than before.
In addition, the purchase price of the label itself is lower and another consideration not to be ignored is the cost of packaging tax, which is of course higher for polystyrene.
In the case of valve packing, we opted for Emba Flex packaging. Its key advantage is that the foil fixes the product and in this way appreciably reduces the risk of deformation during transport. The packaging consists of a box and an insert that is simply placed inside the box. As a result, the product is protected and fixed.
